Jane Macintosh
set up her workshop in Clapham,
South London, in 1982. She has exhibited widely in the United Kingdom and also
in the USA and her work is in private collections in many European countries,
the USA, Canada and Japan.
"All my jewellery is individually made and is constructed from precious materials.
I like to combine different metals, apparently seamlessly, so that they compliment
and enhance each other with their subtle contrasts of tone and colour and add
depth to the clean lines of my designs. The Bauhaus designers and artists
have been a vital influence on my work, as has the urban landscape in which I
live and work". | | |
