Inspiration comes from study into the myth, allegory and symbolism of a Celtic background. Through an exploration of materials, she pushes the boundaries of her chosen medium - enamel. This work often challenges widely held preconceptions about enamelling –the expectation of glossy, colourful surfaces.
In her most recent pieces, she combines unusual talismanic stones with textured and matt finished enamels, resulting in necklaces imbued with a uniquely elemental and spiritual feeling.
